India is rich in art, history and culture. We work to highlight various kinds of traditional arts and crafts that are made in India, and to document and describe the techniques by which these products are made and their relevant use.

However, many of the traditional arts and crafts are disappearing due to lack of patronage and encouragement. Artists and Craftspeople are gradually choosing other means of livelihood, because practicing their traditional artistic skills is not providing sufficient income for their survival.

We strive to showcase these art forms and also emphasize the need for their revival and preservation, because the richness of the cultural traditions must not be lost. The past has contributed for the present and the artistic talents must continue to be an integral part of the future world as well.

We create linkages to motivate and support the artists and craftspeople. These linkages help to promote their unique products and create a source of income for their survival.

It is essential to work towards preserving these art forms and skills, so that their distinctive characteristics, history and meaning will be valued and taken forward.
